Nabil S. Muallem, MD
Nabil S. Muallem, MD
Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology,
Dr. Muallem is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
He is also currently a member of the teaching faculty for the OB/GYN and Family Practice Residency Programs at the Reading Hospital.
Dr. Muallem is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales, where he held a Presidential Scholarship for four years.
He received his M.D. from the University of St. Tomas School of Medicine, Manila, graduating Cum Laude.
He completed his postgraduate training at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center – one year in pathology and four years in OB/GYN – graduating in 1987.
He then joined Dr. Massengale as an associate and started his own practice in 1989.
A native of Nazareth, he spent his youth in Galilee and came to the United States in 1971 to pursue higher education.
Dr. Muallem comes from a large family of 10 brothers and sisters.
His father was an Eastern Rite Catholic priest, and his mother was a busy homemaker.
Dr. Muallem is married and has a son and a daughter. His son is a physician at Penn State Hershey,
specializing in Cardiology. His daughter Laila, who specialized in OB/GYN at Penn State Hershey, joined the practice in August 2021.
As busy as he is, Dr. Muallem makes it a point to spend as much time as possible with his family.

Heidi Strieb, DO
Heidi Strieb, DO
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology,
Dr. Strieb is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Strieb is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
In 2001, she received her master's degree in biomedical sciences from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and in 2005 received her D.O. from the same institution. She completed her postgraduate training at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in OB/GYN, graduating in June 2009.
Dr. Strieb grew up in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. She is the youngest of 5 children. Her father is a salesman and her mother is a homemaker. Dr. Strieb is married and has two sons and a daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family.

Laila Muallem, MD
Laila Muallem, MD
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology,
Dr. Laila Muallem is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Laila Muallem is a graduate of Wyomissing High School, Penn State University, and Jefferson Medical College, where she received the Sarah G. Miller Obstetrics and Gynecology Prize.
She completed her Ob/Gyn residency at Hershey Medical Center, serving as administrative chief resident in her last year.
She enjoys live music, cooking (mostly the eating part), and travel.
Fun fact - she was delivered by the original Dr. Muallem at Reading Hospital.

Dr. Rebecca Wu
Dr. Wu completed her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College, Medical School education at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and Ob/Gyn residency at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
